The vinegar does not drain into the base when you follow these instructions. It gets me every time.

They left the water filter sponge in the filter when soaking in vinegar. I followed the video, and mine started disintegrating after a few weeks. The manual says soak filter but nothing about the sponge. Of course they don't sell replacements on their website.
